I love a soft furnishing and as I mature I am very much more interested in throws and blankets that are wool (so great for body temperature) and companies that are ethically producing them.

 

Enter Wallace and Sewell a London based woven textile and design studio that produce exceptionally beautiful pieces.

The Standard in London uses them as there bed blankets so that's a pretty impressive reference. The blankets have weight and are delightful to sleep under.

I have started with the block collection because I think the modern colours and lines based on artists as reference are outstanding and very non seasonal, these blanket are heirlooms.
